I had a choice between the headband and the hat. I chose the hat because I knew my baby will pull off the headband in a matter of minutes. The hat has ties under the chin so she kept it on for a while. Looks super cute on, very soft material. I ordered size M based on the measurements and it fit just rught but size L would've been even better. So if your baby is around 12 months or older or has a bigger head definately go with size L. Go with the hat rather than headband because this hat makes the dress look so much more like christening.

Beautiful and very precious.  it fits perfect and because it is cotton it feels very soft which I'm sure must feel comfortable on the baby's head.
