Last minute purchase... October 11, 2011

This dress is so beautiful! I originally purchased a dress at Macy's that I didn't really like but just worked. Then, as time went by, I  decided to check out dresses on the internet at the last minute realizing that I would have pictures of my daughter in this "ok" dress forever... Found this dress and ordered it on a Tuesday, received it on a Thursday and the Christening was on following Sunday...phew!
My daughter was 4 months, about 15lbs and in the 98 percentile for height... got the 3-6 size and it fit very well with room to be comfortable. It was easy to unbutton the top two shoulder buttons and pull the dress down for a few minutes so that the priest could draw a cross on her chest. The cotton liner is soft, breathable (in the hot church) and very comfortable. The bows make the dress slightly adjustable and are just a hint of pink.
I received a ton of compliments on the dress and it is an heirloom that I will be keeping for future kids!
