The undergown is 100% dupioni silk in ivory, silk covered buttons in the back make it easy to put on her. The lace overlay on this christening gown is both stunning and special. Fully separable from the silk undergown, the lace overcoat is made of embroidered netting with a rich floral design. People will think this beautiful gown has been in your family for generations because of our Penelope lace, which has a distinctive antique look. The embroidered flowers on this gown are in a pretty shade of ivory with champagne cording, adding depth and richness. Trimmed in ivory Venice edging. Long pale pink silk ribbon bows flow down the skirt. Pearl buttons can be used to fasten the lace overcoat. Beautiful detail at the collar and the front of the bonnet, our pretty Penelope applique of pink and ivory flowers with pearl beading and our hand-made, hand-dyed chiffon whisper pink roses.
